William Reeve,
Founder of LOVEFiLM – From McKinsey consultant to International Entrepreneur

William co-founded Fletcher Research in the nineties, which rapidly became the UK's leading internet research firm before selling it to a US quoted company in 1999. He subsequently founded LOVEFiLM.com,raising a significant amount of venture capital in several stages since itsinception in 2003.  LOVEFiLM is now the leading international online DVD rental business with over 300 staff. At LOVEFiLM, William served in a variety of management roles, and left the business after helping to manage the acquisition of Amazon's DVD rental business early in 2008. William now serves as Non-Executive Director with several other UK-based high-growth companies.

William will share his journey and explain why an Oxford-educated McKinsey consultant felt compelled to jump off the corporate ladder and tread his own entrepreneurial path to success, and why he thinks the current economic climate offers great opportunities for an adventurous business leader.
