Running a major subsidiary of Yahoo! Inc. and one of the world's largest comparison websites, Glen was responsible for the operations of 9 European countries and generating growth in a highly competitive market.
After a background in the car rental and automotive industry, Glen joined Kelkoo UK as Commercial and later Managing Director, where he led his team to create successful advertising partnerships with well-respected brands, such as Tesco, John Lewis, Comet, Argos, Dabs.com, Empire Direct, and Dell. Following the acquisition of Kelkoo by Yahoo! in 2004, Glen became MD of Yahoo! UK and VP Northern Europe. In late 2007, Glen took on the role of European CEO at Kelkoo. which he held until the beginning of 2009.
Glen talked about the issues he faced managing a business under intense competitive pressure and a fast changing environment, and how he prepared Kelkoo to cope with the looming recession in advertising and marketing.
