CEO of Viapost – Is this the next Skype?

Simon Campbell is a multilingual, Courvoisier Top 100 entrepreneur, currently running Viapost, his 5th start-up business! Having been based in Barcelona for much of the past decade, and working predominately between Spain and the UK, Simon has established and run businesses in the IT, advertising, publishing and fashion sectors?and now finds himself pioneering change in the postal/communications sector.

ViaPost is tipped to be the Skype of post, inventing POIP (Post Over Internet Protocol) and having raised two rounds of finance in poor market conditions whilst maintaining valuations and shunning the VCs, the business is set to turnover £10M in 2009 from a standing start in 2008. Simon talked about learning from mistakes and the tricks to getting funding and growing in a recession.
